And fair play to him. Great to see a sportsman with the confidence to say he wants to win more and not trot out the well worn clichéd shite.
He said around that time as well, something along the lines of “We don’t want to end up like Clare in 2013… forgotten”.
He meant it matter-of-factly, and although disparaging to plucky Clare and their lucky All-Ireland, he wasn’t shirking the opportunity to lay it on the line.
