Limerick U21 v Kilkenny U21 - AI Hurling Final

An awful lot will depend on the draw, how many on the senior panels/uninterrupted preparation, if you’ve a game three or four days after the seniors play etc.

The seniors early exit undeniably helped Limerick yesterday and over the last couple of months.

Pretty freakish to think some of those players have now won two Munster minor titles, two Munster U-21 titles and two A-I u-21 titles. For the guts of two decades we were getting the tar beaten out of us at minor and u-21, year in year out.

You’d imagine Cork will be strong in '18. Might have won the minor two years ago but for Kingston getting injured.

Ye are a bit slow out in Kilmallock

Limerick haven’t lost an u21 final, how many senior AIs have they won in that time?

Good breeding there.

We are, yeah.

They’ll have a new management team who will be working from the minors who reached the AI Final in two fifteen, beating Limerick in the Munster Final.
I expect they will be more competative than this year anyway.

They couldn’t be worse

The same squad at minor copped a 9 point beating from Limerick and a 14 point drubbing from Clare, there was nothing expected tbh.
