I’m a very transient radio listener. God help me, I was actually enjoying the inane bleatings of this Street Boy chap in the mornings last week. There’s also something unique about Live 95FM’s ability to play a song that was popular eight years ago and make it sound like they are playing it inside a washing machine. Nothing says living quite like listening to I Gotta Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas on a dreary Tuesday evening at 7pm.

This should be a decent game. Parochialism aside, I think we’ll edge it on the basis of a better quality path to the final, particularly the Galway game.

Good to see a low-key lead-in around Limerick. The little bit of success at minor and U21 in recent years has helped towards that as these players aren’t being crowned as previous ones were.

Darragh Fanning will have his hands full with Blanchfield and will need good support from the heretofore under performing Sean Finn and the ever-improving Dan Joy. Cian Lynch isn’t 100%, but he’ll start and hopefully display the excellent levels of teamwork that we’ve seen from him so far. Tom Morrissey needs a good game too.

We should score plenty, but have coughed up a few silly goals en route. Avoid that today and I’d fancy us.
