The hype about this Clare team in the media is reaching laughable proportions!
They have won 1 out of their last 9 Munster championship matches. I just dont see what the hype is about.
Mcgrath, Galvin, Collins and McInerney are all potentially top class operators but have question marks over them. Tony Kelly is just different Class but there are serious question marks over the rest of this Clare team

There isn’t much current "hype"about Clare in the media to be honest . They just think they will beat Limerick . The bookies think so too.
The usual optimism and belief is starting to grow but then i look and see Clare fielding a half forward line of conlan Podge and Kelly and I come back down to earth a bit…

Lads we are going to go out and walk all over the cunts. Limerick by 5 at least.
Collins will stand off Hannon, and Hannon will hurl an amount of ball. He’ll be delivering quality ball into our forwards, allowing the likes of Mulcahy, Casey, Nash, Dowling, Lynch to flourish.
We’re all presuming Browne is back too and that’s huge, he’s probably been our most consistent player since 2013. He’s a leader in the team and most importantly, he’s a very good decision maker in tight games.
If our forwards work rate is up to scratch, our backs will be alright. They’re good defenders. And we have smart hurlers all over the pitch too- Hannon, Browne, Lynch, Dowling, Dempsey, Jim-Bob.

The bookies were foolish then . Anyone who saw Lk v CE last year could see both teams were going nowhere . Galway were in the 2015 AIF . I suppose Clare’s league final win clouded judgement .
