Limerick v Clare 2022 Munster final

Clare will play to their strengths and the team above bears that out as opposed to picking the likes of Bugler in a horses for courses decision. Podge and Kelly will roam with McGrath and Shanagher operating close to goal and O’Donnell operating between full and half forward line and they will look to get him running at the limerick backs as opposed to running to the corner flag to collect ball as he previously had to do.

Clare will put a huge emphasis on work rate and covering ground as opposed to making it an arm wrestle. For this to happen they will have to be fresh and sharp in their hurling and tackling and management are placing a huge emphasis on this.

As far as I see it if our backs hold up and we dont give away a cheap goal or two I think there is too much hurling and firepower for limerick to deal with.

It’s a huge game for both sides as I think a bit of momentum and confidence would be huge for both. Clare in particular could kick on if they beat us

I have not passed June 4th

Do not collect 200 pound so

James McGrath confirmed as ref

Oohh noooo.

@TreatyStones
are many heading to this at the weekend?
clare are in to 2/9 now from 3/10
is there any hope at all?

I’ll take this one if @TreatyStones doesn’t mind

NO

and

No

Where’s there’s life there’s hope

Good choice. Both sides will get a fair break. McGrath will ref it as it is and won’t be trying to impress anyone.

Anyone care to throw up a possible Clare team?

I’ve seen Limerick ones everywhere.

@Watch_The_Break was correct insofar as a good display is all Limerick fans really want after the last two years and the intro of a new young crop. Clare are much further down the road and I expect them to win by 3 or 4.

That defence could be got at I reckon, but I doubt we have the forwards to do it

Limerick never feared Clare.

Wait til you see the Limerick team mate.

I think with Collins and O’Carroll back Limerick have a chance. In what world Clare would be backed at 2/9 is insane. They are an average team no better.

Limerick are tipp’s lessees in terms of success , ergo Limerick never fear Tipp .

Limerick are Clare’s betters in terms of success , ergo Clare never fear Limerick .
