Have other teams conceded less to the same teams weāve played and can you give examples?
Yeah deflect away. Youāve been caught out in another attempt at spoofing.
Scores have been high in every game this year. Itās the way hurling is gone, thankfully
Clare have scored more against everyone else than they did against us, possibly with the exception of Cork the first day, and we were out on our feet that day and completely misfired.
Given how we were outplayed by cork for much of the last game I would be more worried by Clare than by Galway at the moment.
Iād be worried in equal amounts by both to be fair.
Weād be second favourites against either. We need to up certain aspects of our game to be AI champions I think.
If I was a LK supporter Iād have the complete different viewpoint tbh.
Galway would look to tighten the whole thing up. Clare need a shootout which suits LK too.
A tight affair suits Galway. I think GY will turn Clare over this wknd & with a bit of ease too.
Galway, when it clicks, are unrealā¦ but it has only clicked in fits and spurts this year and they are allowing teams the chance to stay in games - I dont see that changing if they make the final. They are blessed with talent all over and rely on their forwards to win their own ball, but they have also been playing cave man balls into them this year ā the beauty of them is that 1 or 2 of their forwards will always deliver when the rest are having off days but they cough up a lot of ball with their aimless play also which will suit a team like Limerickā¦ Iām in no way saying we will beat them (Galway) but Clareās running game/ sweeper really stretches our system and allows them the stop us creating space up top. As I said, we will be second favs to either, but we will probably be allowed stick to our own game plan a lot more with Galway.
We struggle against teams that donāt take us on directly. Galway couldnāt get to grips with Clare using a sweeper last week, I worry about how weād get on. Kearney and Fitzgibbon had a field day against us, see Reidy and Kelly.
Thatās my reasoning on it.
Luke Meade hit an amount of ball as well.
We just donāt match up well with Clare at all, the likes of Podge, Reidy, Kelly and Galvin all of a similar vein to the lads that caused us problems against Cork.
Whereas we will be more worried about snuffing out Clareās if we meet them which has you on the back foot from the off.
Itās a GY - LK Final.
Fergal told me so.
Cork and Galway had the blueprint in their first halves against them in the Munster final and the last day. Both absolutely blitzed them.
I think Clareās sideline is great at making tweaks when they see a problem. Galwayās line would be a lot slower if you got a run on them.
I hope so as iāve great time for Galway folk and it has been a while since we met in the championshipā¦ Iāll have a great day with my Inis Meain pals ā¦
Can someone Ban this spoofer pls.
Would you like to contribute to the discussion by pointing out what it is you disagree with?
Iād ask you to refrain from asking me to be banned and sniping at my posts please.
Would prefer Galway at this juncture too. Our game is dependent on dragging the opposition defence out to generate space up front. Clare the more likely of the two to adjust their game to shut that down. Galwayās more fundamental style would suit us better I think.
There will be another epic game this weekend, and it being fresher in the memory, the winners will go in as strong favourites for the final.
