It makes a mockery of the whole championship. Teams play 5 or 6 games to get to this stage and then 20 mins of lads cramping all over the field to decide it.

Second periods of extra-time in championship hurling tend to produce goals.
Utter bullshit having extra time in these semi finals. Real anti-climax in both games after regulation time.
If they were going to have extra time, should have had them in provincial finals. After 11 games in the provincial championships, there was hardly and need for a third installment of Galway v Kilkenny.
