Limerick v Cork, tits done now

The Carkies in full on deflection/ defensive mode … a bit of post match showboating isnt much to be worrying about.

We sunk his showboat.

He was gone before it turned decisively in fairness, he’s an absolutely outstanding player

That’s 2 semi final losses for him and the other young contingent - making the final in 2013 was huge for young lads like Lehane and Harnedy — another set back next year could do serious damage to the Cork psyche.

If Cork had Currid they’d have won, it’s as simple as that.

I can’t see them ever getting over this.

If your Aunt had balls ye’d have a pair between ye!

Surprised no one mentioned Lynch’s handpass I think it was in the first half, it looked like he turned his arm inside out to give it in real time, haven’t watched the game back yet I’ll have to keep an eye out for it to see what he actually did.

Fitzgibbon was outstanding in both semis, it won’t be his fault if Cork can’t get over the line in the next few years, they do need to find a few more though, the bench was the difference on Sunday, when Fitz and Harnedy went off it was a draw match I think but there was only one winner from there, Limerick could have replaced anybody adequately

True that. And while those lads are apologising to Mulcahy maybe you can apologise to Nicky Quaid who you’ve sneered at and poured scorn over for the last few years? He’s always been a solid hand for us, unsung mostly, and yesterday was a hero. Don’t think anyone from Limerick has had a problem with Nicky having that jersey the last seven seasons or whatever it’s been.

Is Quaid there seven years? It’s hard to believe he’s that long waiting for a run at centre back.

This is his 9th season on the panel.

He made his championship debut as a half forward v cork in 2010 I think. Came on as a sub. Don’t recall him being on the panel in 09.

Was that the year of the strike?

Was it him, Browne and Mul made their debuts under that cunt McCarthy’s seconds team?

Yes I remember we traveled up and down the country that year following the team. Graeme and Nicky both made their debuts that year. Graeme was electric v Offaly in tullamore. Cian hayes kyles brother played that year too.

Paul browne started half forward in 09 v tipp in the all Ireland semi final.

Debut in 2018 means 9 seasons on the panel.

Mulcahy was only 19, he was class.

Alan O’Connor, Richie McKeogh, Sean Herlihy were all the panel too. There were a few Bruree men.
