@Rocko, bring back the ignore function.
Limerick are limited and we need to accept that but TJ will not get the best out of them over a sustained period and is well out of his depth. Id take Daly now, he would batten down the hatches and formulate some sort of a plan to make Limerick difficult to beat and would more than likely end the Seamus Hickey Cian Lynch media onslaught in an instant which no limerick man is probably willing to do.
Players are not fit, McCarthy, Dowling, Downes all overweight which is a disgrace for intercounty hurlers.
I dont get invovlved really in the limercik hurling discussion with the fucking pricks who discuss it here but i did state before the clare match that hip and whip was the way to beat clare. Need more than that however for a sustained challange though otherwise we are looking at the odd blowout performance from limerick which im sick to death of.
TJ is the man for the long run
Bit harsh on Dowling. He has a naturally heavy build but he was well able to move today
He’s only looking for a rise -Downes overweight, FFS. Dowling was exceptional today. If the half forward line worked half as hard as he did today we might at least have kept it respectable.
Dowling out in a good effort today. He was even playing for spells in the midfield!
dowling should be in better shape and if he was hurling for another county that wouldnt be tolerated.
He chased down Paddy Stapleton from miles away to hook him and win a sideline at one stage
Where is the disagree button?
and how appropriate his first win shud be batein the sh1t out of limerick in their home pitch
Go way you clown, he’s been found out time and time again.
Absolutely, a great achievement for tip.
Well done lads, regardless of what happens here on in, it’s been a good summer for tip.
Well that was pretty horrible. As pissed off as any of the previous bad days following Limerick. At least that is how it felt yesterday as I walked back down the Ennis Road in the dirty mist. Perhaps the blind optimism will kick again soon but I’m just not feeling it this year. We seem to be lacking intensity in particular and a whole pile of others things.
Congrats to Tipp - very hard to stop when they are in that kind of mood. There was flashbacks to the 2009 game on occasions
The match seems a bit of a blur now. I’m not sure we had any positives to take? I’d need to watch it back. Dowling hit one or two monster frees? Hannon scored some decent points from play? Seanie O’Brien did ok in patches?
As for the Tipp fans. There were Tipp 2 lads right beside me who were absolute gents throughout the game. Then we had Tipp 4 lads in the row behind us (2 in late 50’s and 2 in their 20’s). I’ve never come across more detestable cunts at a match in my life. Threatening my auld lad (a 70 year old) and pushing off him and rubbing it in our faces after Tipp had scored the first goal. It calmed down after that first Tipp goal after people in general were saying to get a fucking grip but still CUNTS!!!
who is this retard?
in fairness youd hav to hand it to the tipps. when they decide to bate limerick they really go on the slaughter
in fairness he was coach in the 2010 win. by contrast teeeeejaaaaaay wasnt born the last time limerick won the all ireland
Row L!
I was in row L, had to move on half a dozen cunts who were sitting in the wrong seats. Were you one of them?
I was in row L… Were you with Justin?
Bieber?
Not me
