Limerick v Tipperary MSHC Semi Final 2015

Stapleton struggled early on the first day but finished like a train in the last 15 minutes driving Tipp on

He was very poor for two of the KK goals and gave away alot of soft frees, he has regressed from 2010 in my opinion.

Limerick haven’t a hope.

Barrett is injured and definitely out. Conor O’Mahoney will be full back and Conor O’Brien will most likely start corner back. The other spot is a toss up between Cahill/Stapleton and Barry. I would give the nod to Barry.

Paudie Maher will be centre back with the two wing back slots and midfield being made up of 4 of the following 5, Breen, Bergin, Woodlock, Ronan Maher and Shane McGrath. Woodlock probably the only certainty of those. Either Breen or Shane McGrath most likely to lose out.

Bubbles, Brendan Maher and Patrick Maher will be the half line with Callanan the only certainty in the full line. I reckon two from Forde, John McGrath and Niall O’Meara will be in the corners.

They played a full match amongst themselves in Carton House this morning but I didn’t hear anything from it.

Sean Stack, please disappear back to where you have been hiding.

Decidedly uninspiring options.

They made good time getting back to Thurles for the football

The training game was on about 11am.

Where did it all go wrong for Michael Cahill? He was outstanding two years ago. Now he can’t get picked ahead of James Barry or Conor O’Brien as a corner back? O’Brien is undisciplined and lacks skill. I can’t believe they keep going back to him. Barry is decent enough but not in the class of Barrett or Cahill I would have thought.

Do you have a source in the camp or is this guesswork? Cahill has to start if fit IMO

Injuries. I would assume he is still class and would always have him starting when fit

Cahill is not fully fit and isn’t in great form. O’Mahoney and O’Brien are playing well.

A fit Cahill would be nailed on to start.

Ye surely have a plan B if the temperature exceeds 17 degrees celsius for Forde this year do ye?

I keep telling him to use the two hands.

The Novena started yesterday pal and finishes up on the 21st.

Tinfoil

Legislation needs to be drawn up to address that issue.

Big boost to limerick so. Cahill, Murphy and Hickey the best corner backs in the country. Always a great battle between Cahill and Mulcahy. Can the others match Mulcahy for pace?
