Munster hurling, you can’t bate it for intensity.
Hard to see Limerick’s jennet express keep the pace up for the 70 minutes.
But they’d have taken a three point lead at half-time.

Limerick’s work rate is far higher than Tipp’s and their physical approach is not letting Tipp get into their stride. It’s hard not to see Tipp getting at least two goals in the second half though.

Right, Dowling and Downes will be ready to make their statement after 50 - 55 minutes. Essential for Limerick to stop Tipp getting 2 or 3 points at the start of the second half.
The manager may have gotten the tactics correct here.
Hard to see limerick keeping up the same intensity in the second half with the heat. Backs playing very well but half forward line is not closing down as effectively as we would like. As others say we have to use the bench wisely and early enough to make an impact.
Jesus, that was wasteful again from Hannon… should have been a goal there… would have been a huge psycholgical blow to Tipp so early in 2nd half.
