All he is interested in is making sure he gets paid to play. Other than that he should not be even on the panel. I would fuck him, Hannon, Quaid and possibly Gavin out to pasture.

Quaid isn’t a natural goalie and it is obvious to see the mistakes he makes. Probably his biggest fault is that he does not seem in control of his backs or to be talking to them. I have seen natural goalies at this down the years and in recent times Murray has been the best with a very honourable mention to Barry Hennessy.
Gavin looked at odds all day and not for the first time way waaay out of position.

Spot on ref Quaid. Alot of people blamed Gavin for not dropping deeper to protect Morrissey but he had plenty to do watching Bonnar. Quaid should have been more vocal in telling Morrissey where to be & when to sit. His effort to save Breens second goal was abysmal.
As for Gavin, either play him wing back or don’t play him IMO.
This Hickey fella is a fucking shambles of a hurler, doesn’t seem to play the team plan but only his own little game.
Dowling was fucking shocking too, lads saying play him FF & keep him for the frees are essentially saying he’s so unfit it’s okay as he’ll tap over the frees & bury the odd 21yd free. I’d say the sight of rain & a slippy sod finished him Sunday before he togged.
Hannon was a fucking disgrace too might I add. A good player with zero interest in the battle. Should be benched ASAP.

Byrnes started there, then a sweeper was tried and I think Paudie o Brien ended up there and Ronan Lynch had a short spell also I think…who the fuck knows at this stage.
He did and he didn’t. He’s better at 5 for now. Great going forward but comes out too far and leaves loads of space in behind.
O’Connell. I’d been saying all year he should have been given the league at 6 and given every opportunity to work out there. I think Teege gave him a game wing back then cut him from the panel.
He left for America I don’t think he was cut. I don’t think he played a single minute under tj when he was 21s manager so he obviously doesn’t rate him.
Ronan Maher is going great at CB. Fair play to Michael Ryan for starting the young fella.
Thought he was cut but fair enough. Not being rated by Teege is no barometer of whether you are actually a good player.
I think that is the way it went. I was talking to another player a few weeks back and said it was set in stone he was going to America early enough in the league so maybe that’s a reason why he wasn’t playing too. By all accounts he done well in his only league game against Offaly.
He was and I suppose he has had a fair crack at it as well so it was his time to shine and he didn’t.
