Wouldâve preferred a more challenging quarter final to sharpen up for Kilkenny to be honest.
Limerick have much more firepower up front than a Waterford team who are managed by an incompetent bluffer. So long as Limerick are focused on the job at hand theyâll win.Wexford would have hammered Waterford tonight but for some awful wides. The year has already been a success for them.It will be a disaster for Limerick if they lose this.
I agree Tassotti!
Limerick are very one paced. Wexford need to smarten up a bit on their finishing but their pace, movement and mobility will be too much for Limerick.
The only crumb of comfort I can see for Limerick is Thurles has traditionally always been a graveyard for Wexford teams. A Leinster semi final win over Dublin in 2002 the only game of any consequence I can ever remember Wexford winning there.
Still Limerick buried a Thurles bogey last month beating Tipperary for the first time there in 41 years. Wexford will do likewise next Sunday.
Kk to beat limerick comfortably in the semi is my prediction FWIW. Wexford too naive just yet.

This Limerick team put in a good effort against Kilkenny in the 2012 quarter final. They won the munster title last year and if they scored a goal first last week they might have retained their title.Wexford made hard work out of beating an off form Clare and a limited Waterford team. The key thing for Limerick is getting their forwards to fire and TJ needs to act quicker on the sideline with regards to substitutions and switches. This is a battle hardened Limerick team and i think they can launch a serious all ireland challenge if they get a bit of momentum.Wexford are a spirited but limited team and i think they will be found out the next day

Wexford will revel in Tom Sempleâs field.
Actually think Limerick would match up well against Kilkenny if they did get over Wexford. The make up of that Limerick half back line is not right and as Iâve said before lack of pace right through the team.
Very well put.
Sweet Jebus are you actually agreeing with one of my posts!
Great post, Iâve said this before but imo we have the best set of forwards available now in my time of following Limerick. Iâm just waiting for the day when they click as a unit together - I believe when they do, there will be no team who can live with us.
If you make a valid point I will agree pal, that post summed up my thoughts entirely!
I think Wexford should be happy with their lot for the year and can be very proud of their achievements. Now just roll over and follow the script.

Iâll show Limerick lots of respect. Pity their supporters are failing to do likewise on this thread thus far.[/QUOTE]

Thatâs a rather large forehead on the guy in the backgroundâŚ(strokes chin)
They wonât, I didnât realise how pacey they are , think theyâll beat Limerick with a bit to spare
Thatâs a pity
Ye might do a Liam dunne on McDonald ? Wexford midfield also an excellent pairing
Doubt rossiter will be right, pulled up suddenly and limped behind the goals at start of second half. Looked like a hamstring
Yeah and you also said Wahurford would beat Cork in munster.
