Would hope that we are a year or two ahead of Wexford in terms of development. Most/all of the Limerick team have experience of winning a provincial title, winning big championship games in Thurles so hopefully that will stand to us.

There’s a bit of backbone to this Wexford team though, tried to lose it about three times against Clare but still came back. Tricky game last night but again got over the line. They’ve momentum and are bouncing into this whereas we’re off the back of an encouraging display but disappointing result.

Wexford have huge momentum and that Fitzpatrick chap seems to have them perfectly conditioned , they are being underrated , by that I mean what they’ve done up to now (previous years) doesn’t matter a jot. They have come together have fine hurlers filled with huge pride and belief due to their fantastic support . As long as limerick perform losing to them would be no backward step ( recriminations etc ). Will be a super occasion and the winner will have absolutely huge momentum and as a result and please god will go on to close the deal
