Lionel Andres Messi

yeah Ossie Ardiles had a good interview about it and said his attitude is similar to Maradona which is endearing him even more to the public.

Does that excitable Italian chap still post here? Messi is a fraud was one of his big contrarian attention seeking mantras.

The Greatest.

First player ever to score in the group stages, Round of 16, Quarter Final, Semi Finals and Final of a World Cup too according to Gary Winston.

2022 joins 1970 and 1986 as a World Cup that crowned the careers of the greatest of the great. There were two, now there are three.

Mbappe already has his Pelé 1958 and has now backed it up on the biggest stage, so within a decade or so it might be four.

That’s a fact the Holy Trinity of greats

I’d have to say that Messi stands apart now. The Greatest of them all.

He should seriously retire.

He’s number 2 now. Diego is still the GOAT.

Messi scored 91 goals in the calendar year of 2012. Too simplistic to just look at stats but his are insane compared to Maradona. He also had greater longevity. Maradona was finished at 35 sadly.

Poor Pele, lived to see his demotion to 3rd

Messi didn’t shove his missus around or go on coke binges. Messi for me.
