Live GAA on de Telly 2023 (No Discussion)

They had 6 stalwarts go this year and little coming through. Joe Canning will finish his career in intermediate, which was a bet offered by a bookie in portumna back when they were winning all Ireland’s.

Port at least being competitive. They shipped some awful hidings last year.

Joe went for that . Might regret it . Not a bad game this

Wow

Wow x 2

2 red cards for Port in 2 minutes.

Joe and Jack both get the line. Seemed fairly harsh on Joe anyway.

Jack can’t complain . Silly

Really…

Joseph Cooney has wintered well

They don’t see them for training too often

The two Hurleys are a serious handful at that level. D Cahalane is a good club footballer too.

Did you leave on TG4, 1986 GAA reeling in the years style program, I’d say that was my favourite all Ireland, the fact that I nearly put the Cork captain out of the final made it extra sweet

The 86 Munster final in Killarney against Clare was a great day,

What did you do to him? Tackle him in a club match?

Nah, i was only 11, i was pucking the balls out to them at training the last night before the final and he wasn’t looking, i hit him in the side of the head from 40 yards, he went down like a ton of bricks

A real honour to be hurling balls out to the All-Ireland finalists at that age.

We’d spend most summer evenings down in the Pairc. Taking shots on Ger Cunningham was a highlight, you’d go home every night with your pocket full of sliothars, even the odd O’Neils football under your jumper.
