Live GAA on de Telly 2023 (No Discussion)

You’re on the list

More like they are getting their excuses in because it has performed so poorly.

Agreed. I’d sack Milton in the morning for his carryon

Disappointing that the Joe McDonagh isn’t getting a look in. Were all those games on Clubber this year?

Be interesting to see how the Midweek Magazine Show goes. If they split it into two shows, hurling vs football it could be daycent, but I suspect they won’t.

On balance, Clubber/Streaming of lower level Club GAA hasn’t been a good thing in my opinion.

It certainly isn’t the reason no one gives a fuck about them

Clubber is fantastic. I’d say I spoke to 10 lads who watched the Kerry inter final alone. Its opened up watching games in other counties. Personally I enjoyed catching a a few of the Tipp and KK games.

What irks me about GAAGO is the fact they will not do any league games.

They actually have better analysts than RTE live. Hogan and Bubbles next year will be good.

I dont mind County Finals.

For the earlier games its killing crowds. Easier sit at home and flick between 4 or 5 games on a Sunday than actually go to one.

I agree. The fact that GAA/Camogie Association/LGFA are happy to let a third party show top level matches in a premium competition at times is fucking pathetic.

All-Ireland Camogie Club Semi-Finals were exclusive to Clubber. So lame. Are they paying rights for it?

They pay rights for all their games.

Shows the GAA/Camogie Association/LGFA are complete and utter sellouts so.

Can’t imagine the Junior Club Camogie semi-final cost much in terms of rights this past weekend.

I don’t really see the problem here, with due respect to junior/intermediate club games they won’t draw a huge amount of neutrals so it does no harm to have it on Clubber.

I’d agree with @peddlerscross point it’s easier to stay at home. You can’t compare the sense of occasion of going to a game.

You haven’t a notion chief

GaaGo 24 seems a no brainer at that early bird price, especially with the midweek highlights show

I got one of these early birdie passes last year. If I go into my account now and try and purchase a pass for 2024 I’m marked as PAID. No money has come out of my account.

I’m presuming Ashutosh needs to either run a script to set a lot of 1s to 0s, or else get out the big secure notebook of card details and start bating out payments. We’ll see how this one plays out.

Mine runs from july to july for some reason. Maybe thats when they took the sub the Covid year.

It’s the inevitable consequence of the split season mini-blitz format.

Cheers. I definitely don’t - you have me sussed well

Don’t feel bad, it’s a gift

Ballymacmuck in the junior provincial football championship & Pittsburgh Steelers pre-season & “watch along parties” - made available by the GGA to watch online.

Wexford v Kilkenny in the Leinster senior hurling championship last season - not made available by the GGA to watch online.

You literally could not make it up.
