Live GAA on de Telly 2023 (No Discussion)

I’ve only dipped in and out of this but Philly Mcmahon has played a few lovely long raking foot passes

Thomas Davis running out of ideas at the ballymun 45. To be fair there are 12 ballymun players inside that 45. Horrible football

Ballymun have an outrageously strong club team on paper at least. ComerFord, philly mc, James small, James Mccarthy, Dean rock, paddy small would walk onto every county team in the country bar maybe kerry. Throw in very good club players like Jason whelan Davy Byrne and a few more and it would be hard to get a stronger more experienced outfit. What’s story in next game Vincent’s v clontarf does it count for anything?

Commenting on that at this stage is pointless. It would be like giving out that a soccer team have 11 men behind the ball. Every single gaelic football team does this now and there can still be some great games. Dublin regularly put 15 behind the ball and can hardly be accused of being boring.

I’m pretty sure it is winner takes it all. Boden have beaten both teams well already and are already through.

No Jack Mccaffrey. Vin’s will piss this

Corner forward for Clontarf looks more like a lad dragged out of the pub to make 15 for their juniors

Them tight fit jerseys are not ideal for lads like him

Mossy Quinn is a fair class act at this level. Just floating around here barely breaking into a jog but getting on loads of ball and just taking the simple/right option pretty much every time

He’s a great bit of stuff. Must be close to 40.

Wonderful team goal from Quinn turning the ball over in the tackle to Connolly’s foot pass to the finish

Nothing but the best.

This is a decent game. Some great tackling by both sides. Kilruane very dangerous but missing easy chances. Loughmore are serious dogs. Sweeney was retired for weeks ago.

Cora Staunton is a shit co commentator and analyst. Just because she was the second best ladies footballer of all time means fuck all outside that sphere.

The official is very whistle happy in Thurles.

Kilruane seem very depleted here.

Only missing McLoughney?anyone else?

Justin Cahill, Cleary x2 in the forwards too. McAdams not there either.

Not sure if Buggy is considered a player anymore.

I’m fairly sure buggy is in Oz

He went after last year’s County Semi but definitely came back home in March with the pandemic.

Could be gone back there again now.
