how do y’all think the uncertainty surrounding benitez will affect Juve - they need all guns blazing for Friday night
The thing with Juventus is that its the best set of players they had in a while & their manager won’t be shy in letting the players know this- this belief alligned to a serious amount of work over the winter months will mean that a victory is on the cards- will they go much further? hard to say but they will give it a right old lash whatever happens
So your a Juve fan now as well. Suppose your better off covering all bases alright. Surely you can only get away with picking one Milan team though?
you just dont get it Kev
No, no i don’t get your weird affiliation to more than one sports team in one country in one sport. I don’t get it. It shows you have no loyalty whatsoever, think that may have been one of the very first reasons i disliked you on this board. That and your full of shit.
The Old Lady is dead, put her in the ground. Any chance of getting Inter’s titles off them NCC considering the recent revelations in Italy?
Christ, Kev really is a tard of epic proportions.
It’s like the rumble in the jungle all over again.
I think all Romanista will be hoping and praying that Juve get a result this weekend. It doesn’t mean we have any feeling for the bastards though irrespective of what Kev reckons. Anyway this is off topic - Liverpool should fight tooth and nail to hold onto Rafa.
As a follower of Manchester United I thoroughly agree with that sentiment.
If this is your honest opinion Bandage can you offer reasons why. I’m genuinely curious.
I’ve developed a real fondness for the way he says ‘skwad’ and ‘wahking had’ when he means ‘squad’ and ‘working hard’.
He also has a habit of saying ‘no’ randomly at the end of sentences.
He also calls ‘chances’, ‘chinces’.
‘We played well today and created chinces, no’.
Generally starts most sentences with ‘When you talk about … I say’ or ‘If you want to talk about … I say’
Posted this dude before. Some class impressions.
I think Torres is at the stage where he doesn’t really need to shine at the World Cup to generate interest. If he wants to move he’ll have suitors. Some will be from clubs in a better shape than Liverpool too.
Don’t see a Mourinho or Hiddink going there at the moment but you never know. Won’t take an awful lot to turn them around.
Do people think Torres will shine at the World Cup? Personally I think it will depend on whether he uses conditioner or not. Will he take one or two bottles into the shower? Or will he just wash and go, like another former Liverpool player and World Cup Amigo Jason McAteer? Jason knew you could have it all, and as a result he really shone at the USA '94. Torres has an old head on young shoulders - metaphorically speaking of course - and I’m tipping him to do the same.
Wouldn’t really agree that it wouldn’t take much to turn them around. Assuming they don’t get fourth place, which looks very likely at present, then attracting decent quality players to the club gets even harder. Thats assuming that Liverpool have money to spend which doesn’t seem to be the case. Man city will no doubt spend loads again this summer, Spurs if they get fourth will have the opportunity to invest. A couple of seasons out of the champions league and Liverpool may find it hard to break back in.

Liverpool owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett Jr have confirmed their intention to sell the club after appointing British Airways chairman Martin Broughton as chairman today.
The American duo, whose time in control of Liverpool has been marked by controversy, have asked Barclays Capital to advise on the sale process.
A statement on the club’s website said Liverpool have the “full support of its existing bankers for this process”.
Broughton will work alongside the club’s existing management team of managing director Christian Purslow, commercial director Ian Ayre and financial director Philip Nash.
The day-to-day running of the club remains in the hands of this team, the club stated.
Hicks and Gillett had initially instructed chief executive Christian Purslow to find US$100m (€114m) of outside investment to reduce the club’s $237m (€270.22m) debt.
However, with that still unresolved and issues over funding for a new stadium in Stanley Park, providing a substantial transfer budget for manager Rafael Benitez and the likely lack of Champions League football next season becoming increasingly significant, the Americans have decided their best option is to sell up, claiming they have taken the club “as far as they can”.
Thomas Hicks and George Gillett said in a statement: "Owning Liverpool Football Club over these past three years has been a rewarding and exciting experience for us and our families.
"Having grown the club this far we have now decided together to look to sell the club to owners committed to take the club through its next level of growth and development.
"We are delighted that Martin Broughton has agreed to take the position of chairman, working alongside the club’s excellent senior management team. Martin is a distinguished business leader of excellent judgment and with a great reputation.
“He is a genuine football supporter and will seek to oversee the sales process in the best interests of the club and its supporters.”
Broughton said: "I am excited and honoured to be taking up this position. Liverpool is a great club with a fantastic history.
“I will run this sale process in the right way, for the benefit of the club and its fans. Liverpool is one of the world’s greatest clubs and my aim is to try and ensure that we find new owners who are able to build on the Club’s recent improved financial performance in order to help deliver sporting success.”

I disagree. They’ve a bit further to fall yet.
