I thought âlast whileâ meant the last few games.
I never said that Benitez wasnât worried about the cup - I said I wasnât. Benitez is obviously taking it seriously judging from the team he picked playing Gerrard and Torres, at least one of whom looks to have picked up an injury.

What is your point farmer? In my opinion, Chelsea donât rely on any one player as much as Liverpool do on Gerrard, and I prefer it that way. Terry, Carvalho and Lampard between them give them the bulk of their backbone, their drive etc.
Fair enough if you disagree, and before you drag up the Alonso red herring, yes heâs a fine passer of the ball and is capable of controlling the rhythm of a match on occasion, but he just isnât capable of a match-changing impact in games such as tonightâs.
Where are Chelsea though? Behind Liverpool in the league. So, by your logic, the collective drive and creativity of Chelski is less than that of Gerrard by himself - doesnât say much for them really does it?
Yeah that is exactly what I am saying - buala bus farmer. Do you expect me to deny something which is factually correct, such as âLiverpool have more points than Chelseaâ? Sorry to disappoint. Gerrardâs influence in that team is huge - therefore when heâs not in the team, it is going to have a similar impact to other teams being without two players. Plus, itâs not really what order the teams are in now that matters, as you know. No-one draws conclusions in the first week of February, at least no-one I know.
Well we are talking at the moment so current form is relevant. And at the moment Liverpool are ahead of Chelsea in the league having just beaten them last Sunday.
My point is that, fair enough Liverpool rely hugely on Gerrard, but you say it as if it is all that matters. You mention that Chelsea donât rely on anyone as much as Liverpool rely on Gerrard as if it is some sort of acheivement when all that matters really is the league postions and Champions League where Liverpool are currently performing better than Chelsea.
I donât care if Gerrard scores every goal for Liverpool between now and the end of the season if it means that they win the league and Champions League.

Iâd have to say that Torres and Carragher have a similar impact at Liverpool as the Chelsea players mentioned above have at their club.
Iâd have to agree that Liverpool are very reliant on Gerrard to create chances. That is why he plays for them I suppose.

I agree with most of that, so I donât see what you are trying to prove.
I donât care if Chelsea are behind Liverpool in the league every week between now and the end of the season if it means they win it on the last day.
shite game, and to be honest, Iâd prefer Liverpool to be out of it anyway. League is what I want won, couldnt care less about an FA cup. Whther the players hold that view or the manager is doubtful, but I suppose the only real knock on effect from last night is any injuries or confidence loss from it.
shocking bad defending from Arbeloa for the goal. Launches himself into the back of Carragher and Cahill (I think) when the ball is in the air, and then doesnt put a challenge in when the ball drops to the ground. Nice finish all the same, even if Skyrtls slight deflection is what put it in. Liverpool were shite tho, and it doesnt really look like their slump in form is really over.

What I am trying to say is that so much is made of how Liverpool rely on Gerrard as if it is something terrible or something. At the moment though, this season, they are doing reasonably well - definitely better than Chelsea who you have said donât rely on anyone as much as if that was something they have up on Liverpool.
Blue and white fucking shite deserved it over the 120 mins. Its probably a good thing they were knocked out but losing to those bitters is always tough to take. That fucking Lucas isnât even related to a Footballer and tho Mascherano is slightly out of form he should surely have started ahead of LucasâŚ
Some heavy legs minus Gerrard for Portsmouth on Saturday, going to be another painful watch.
Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard will be out for three weeks after the club confirmed he suffered a hamstring tear during last nightâs FA Cup defeat at Everton.
A club spokesman told Liverpoolfc.tv: âA scan today has confirmed a tear in the hamstring of Stevenâs left leg. He will be out of action for about three weeks.â
