Nah, there won’t be a comeback in this one. Barca will put out a scratch team at the weekend while we’re breaking our bollox at Newcastle. Not that it would make a difference.

Klopp fucked up though with his selection, no doubt about it. Whatever Gini is, he’s not an “in the hole” player and not having the proper front three disturbed the attacking balance, we looked powder puff up front without it.
Barca are going to win this competition and I’ve been saying it since February. That game was very similar to their semi-final against Bayern Munich in 2015.

That was the Milner miss imo. Strange that Klopp decides TAA can’t be trusted ahead of a half fit Gomez. Gomez is a centre half. He did fine first half but was isolated and tired in 2nd half. Midfield were really really poor though.
