Liverpool feeling the pressure. Understandable for a club with no history of winning the league in decades.

Gilesy lambasting Klopp on OTB

Giles

Off the Ball

It’s fairly incoherent analysis

I didn’t hear it but it probably went along the lines of;

In my day when Leeds went into a slump, Don Revie would come in and punch Billy Bremner in the face and tell us to get on with it. But you can’t do that anymore. If you did that these days players would be rolling around on the ground and they’d probably sue you. Can you imagine Ole Gunnar Soleskaer punching Pogba in the face? Bremener wouldn’t even flinch when Revie punched him in the face, he’d just get on with it. But they were real tough men back then.

Gilesy is great entertainment, he said Saha so much there that I’d say he could actually have been talking about Louis,
He’s dead right about the cheating divers though

notice anything strange about the Celtic gear when they played Leeds mate???

Is that for me or Gilesy?

OTB is the new Sunday Indo

Diving is an acceptable part of football. It’s been going on for years and nothing is done to stamp it out … People shouldnt fight it and just accept it. I hope Salah dives all season longs and wins many penos from it.

He should’ve dived out of the way of Ramos in the champions league final.

Hasnt been the same player since.

Hard to do when someone is pulling on your arm.

Edgy :+1: hardcore fanatics like you don’t care how the wins are achieved, that’s cool, I’m a bit more laid back about football, I don’t like cheating in sport

I was the strongest advocate for fair play on the board for a long time- diving and simulation drove me nuts… I then realized that it was a waste of time. FiFA/UEFA etc. etc have no will to stamp it out. This logically leads one to not only accept it’s part of the game, but to encourage players to do it.

I don’t see the logic in that at all, you advocate cheating in sport??

Cheating  -What are you, 10?

I’m advocating pushing the rules to the limit. It’s up to the referee to enforce them - If he wants to let you off, then it’s not cheating, it’s poor officiating.
