Villa very good when they went 1-0 down
. Before that it must have been 90% possession for Liverpool second half. Liverpool had one of those days tho, over cooked passes or bad first touch. Thought Fabinho bossed the middle and Robertson was good… Mane probably should have had a peno. There was nothing in the Ings one.

Super Stevie G had his men we’ll set up. He’s learned well from mentors Houllier and Benitez. Squad depth will tell in the end but the Redmen will give their all in the title race and make the knowledgeable fans proud.
It would be a great underdog success story if the storied club LFC could oust the two teams with financial backing of entire oil states. The good guys versus Abu Dhabi and Russia.
