Palace v Liverpool is usually a cracker. Liverpool 4-3 Palace in 2019 probably the standout in terms of recent meetings. The only team to win at Anfield in the league between January 2017 and January 2021. Paddy Vieira has them going well this season so theyâll be a tricky proposition today.
I suppose the 7-0 last season was nice too.
I think heâs hinting at the 9-0 victory in 1989 with eight different scorers and Aldoâs farewell.

Iâd say heâs trying to aim a thinly veiled dig at those who remember Palace beating Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi-Final in 1990 by 4-3. Before my time though.
