Liverpool are always dangerous but city slightly the better team today. More control and had them in huge trouble with through balls. Liverpoolâs chances come in a more unpredictable way.

It felt like a huge let off for them at the time.
Relieved to have gotten a point out of that. Only saw the first 30 minutes but wasnât overly enthused by the performance and then had a sense of dread when I heard Brian Kerr describing the second City goal on Newstalk. We probably needed to beat them but given the performance I think the point isnât too bad. Hopefully they slip against either Wolves (A), West Ham (A) or Leeds (A).
Fine margins
Very disappointing performance considering what was at stake. Midfield werenât able for the City press so it was strange the back 5 persisted trying to play it out. City were dodge at the back but couldnât get at them. When Fabinho is bad heâs an awful liability. At fault for first goal and at fault for the Mahrez chance at the end. In between he was shit too. Very fortunate to get a point. City are exceptional but just lack that killer instinct.
