They’ll be disappointed, no doubt, not to have made it three, couldn’t finish the job tonight but Madrids name was on the trophy from way back. The fact that Liverpool stayed with the financial behemoth that is city to the last day seems to have greatly upset fans of other clubs for some reason. You’d think it would give them hope.

Any time Liverpool are involved in a European Cup final and the kick off is delayed the opponents win 1-0 with a goal in the 59th minute.

Any time Liverpool lose a European Cup final to Real Madrid, Liverpool win the European Cup the following year.

Any time the European Cup final is in Istanbul, Liverpool win the European Cup.

And amazingly no other club is involved in a game that is delay in a European Cup/Champions League final. Something to reflect on…or not for liverpool supporters.
