Murphy was a lovely footballer, was fantastic for Charlton and Fulham; Kind of Scholes-lite. Itās funny really, his legs started to go just when he kind of figured out his game. The Spurs move shouldāve worked out for him and they gave up on him too quick.
Thompson was fucked by injuries, Souness took him to Blackburn I think but twas snakebitten.

Rafa got shot of Murphy a little bit too hastily. Although I suppose he replaced him with the likes of Garcia and Alonso who were a level above.
