Liverpool Football Club 2013/14

This game has the makings of a cracker… could be some amount of goals scored tonight

Especially with Shelvey scoring and setting them up at either end.
Liverpool starting 11 for tonight.

Mignolet, wisdom, skrtel, sakho, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Henderson, coutinho, Moses, sturridge.

Interesting to see how the debutants get on tonight. Carragher came out with a priceless quote on sky sports there “there are only 2 types of full back, a failed winger or failed centre half”. Classic.:)
" Nobody wants to be a full back. Nobody wants to grow up to become Gary Neville."

A true “box to box” midfielder.

Goal and a point for Shelvey so far…

Terrific opportunistic play by Sturridge for his goal.

I think Victor Moses will be a good addition for Liverpool, while he isn’t anything special in a technical sense he has plenty of pace and directness which Liverpool lack and a front four of him, Coutinho, Suarez and Sturridge has a nice balance to it

Just as I type that Moses makes a good chance for Sturridge which is well saved by Vorm

two very dodgy defences

Sakho needs to sort himself out

Wisdom looks a very limited player at right back. Not one bit comfortable on the ball. Will be playing for Tranmere or Accrington Stanley in 5 years time

mcloughlin is the long term right back, too inexperienced at the present.

Well taken goal by Moses who is causing Swansea a lot of problems. Terrible ball by Shelvey

Great finish by Moses. Fucking nightmare for Shelvey.

Yurt.

goal and two assists for john jo

were going to win the league

Another assist for Shelvey. Seriously though, he is fairly shit.

Fucking hell we are very open at the back.

Outstanding defending from Skrtel there.

He has his uses. He is very atheletic and puts himself about but he isn’t suited to a side like either Liverpool or Swansea. Someone like Sam Allerdyce or Tony Pulis would get the best out of him and his athleticism as he hasn’t much going for him in terms of footballing ability.
