Liverpool Football Club 2017/18

If he was still around we could have pointed him to the Nicky Kehoe libel award as an example of what a Pyrrhic victory is.

Just watching recording of Match of the Day - The Ox seems a thoroughly decent sort on his post match interview.
On flip side Ian Wright is still rubbish.

I nearly shed a tear at the way he defended his buddy Phil who was beside him in a post-match interview before Christmas.

One for all, all for one, even if one of them is now gone.

Last night’s victory was Liverpool’s first in the knock out stages of the Champions League since 08-09. Coincidentally that last victory was also a 5-0 win. Another coincidence is that Iker Casillas was in goals for the losers for the 2nd leg. Let’s hope Liverpool keep the trend going and follow up their European victory with a 4-1 thrashing of those manc cunts at Old Trafford in the early k.o. on Saturday.

Hmmmm

Think Dossena scores in both games.
A late winner from super sub Albie Moreno is in the cards.

Liverpool report profits of $62m for 2016-2017. I think even lapsed poster @Nembo_Kid would struggle to argue against the merits of Klopp’s stewardship especially considering Rodgers’ legacy was a loss of over $20m.

John W and Kloppo are a formidable team.

FSG/Henry get a lot of unfair criticism for lack of spending. They’ve always stumped up. A lot of it was wasted so they obviously got a bit more cautious. They were badly advised when they first took over with the Comolli/moneyball strategy. They did well to get Klopp, good fit for them.

Talk is that Can is staying and was spotted house hunting on Merseyside. Can you confirm @anon61956325?

In fairness, Liverpool have done very well on their big transfers in last few years: Firmino, Mane, Salah all a big success. VVD fitting in well, and you could even say likes of Robertson, Ox and Gini have all added something useful to squad. Even the keeper is starting to come good.

Keita will add something really extra though

The only dud in recent years was Benteke.

Markovic at 20m.

And in fairness it’s nearly 4 years since him and big Rickie Lambert were signed.

The useless fucker only turned 24 as well

He’s on loan at Anderlect at the moment. I wasn’t even aware of that.

I’m not sure if even anderlecht are aware of that mate

They told him he was too fat when he arrived…

Sounds like what happened you when you arrived in Cork so

FFS — Are people scouring the internet looking for an excuse to get upset? - You had Manchester fans getting uppity about Munich a few weeks back and none of them even born when it happened … what a world we live in.
