Canāt believe Firmino hasnāt scored a goal at Anflied all season. Are there many other regular centre forwards in the league without a goal? Even Shane Long has a couple.
Firmino does not merit a place in the starting line-up as he is threatening to go through an entire season without scoring a goal at Anfield.
Just think about that statement for a moment - never in the long history of Liverpool has the player leading their forward line got to the middle of March without scoring a goal on home soil, but that is the position Firmino finds himself in and, unsurprisingly, he has been affected by it.

His record in big games is poor enough. In European semi finals and finals he has scored two goals and both were against Roma when 3-0 up. Three two leggged semi finals and three finals. He was injured for 2nd leg against Barce which Liverpool won 4-0, his replacement scoring 2 goals.
He should score tonight though as itās not a big European game.

Not scoring at home all season is a valid criticism. When heās good heās great but he blows cold far too often.
Check the same stats on Mane and Salah. Heās the primary reason those two fire as well as they do. If Firmino was the goalscorer you want him to be, the two wingers wouldnāt be have as recognised and praised
Just because Mane and Salah score does not mean Firmino canāt. They scored bucket loads between them the season before last. Firmino and Salah have been poor this year compared to that season but Salah scores an odd goal even when being poor. Liverpool have won a lot of games by one goal, thatās down to the defence. I think a goal scoring number 9 would make things a lot easier. Itā'd be different if Firmino was consistently playing well and setting up loads, he clearly isnāt.
Liverpool should refuse to play tonight and next Mondayā¦ Forfeit the league if they have to.
