You seem to be unable to grasp the concept of net spend. If you are a farmer and sell a few weanling bulls then that frees up funds to buy a new tractor. Most of the top clubs buy without even considering selling anyone of note. Liverpool sell to buy.
Whatās liverpoolās wage bill versus Bournemouths? A transfer is amortized over the length of a contract and includes wages etc.
Net spend means fuck all in reality. A transfer is hardly ever paid in full up front, so that 140m is probably still being paid. Transfers are budgeted as long term assets. Itās literally impossible to plan on selling to buy as a strategy.

When you lose a key player for a big fee you reinvest that money though. The likes of Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea rarely encounter such a scenario whereas Liverpool have routinely lost important players over the last decade.

Sheffield United and Chris Wilder have performed absolute miracles to stay in the premier league with a wage bill of just 13m
United on 332m way, way out in front.

Liverpool holdās 2nd position with wage bill of (Ā£264 million). Club bring new players to maintain the squad and challenge for EPL title in 2020. Third highest and most expensive wage bill (Manchester City) reported by The Sun UK. Man City paying Ā£260 million in wages.
Anyway, the usual suspects driven demented while Klopp and the boys take a breather for a few weeks.
