I couldnāt understand that signing at the time. A squad player, nothing more, nothing less. Steven Gerrard was building him up as if he were a younger version of himself. Even his debut season was vastly overrated. 5 goals in 40 odd appearances.
Hopefully Bournemouth will get promoted and pay 30 million for him in the summer.
