Liverpool Football Club 2022/23

I don’t have an issue with the signing of Gakpo. He was one for the summer but it was pushed forward when United came in for him. It was also at a time when Liverpool had 3 to 4 attackers injured. He’s looked decent so far. They started Ox three or four games in a row, at the left of the attack. The likes of west Ham wouldn’t be doing that.

My issue is the either/or. Why didn’t they get Gakpo and another body in midfield? It was very obvious one was needed.

To be honest, I still can’t believe they didn’t replace Gini when he left.

anyone else think its odd that the footix arent using “we” anymore?

He has an idea of how the game should/needs to be played. He won’t change that. Pep is similar.

You’d argue he should adapt until he gets players back he needs to play his system.

It’s not working without the press and hard running and teams can just play through us now.

I’d back him to get it right in the summer if he can get midfield players he wants.

Why do you hate two Irish teams so much?

Ah that’s absolutely magnificent

I think Gakpo will end up down the middle, replacing Firmino pal.

Have you stopped using it to describe Chelsea/ Newcastle/ Spurs/ Queensland Dingos etc etc?
