Liverpool Football Club 2022/23

Please extend an open invitation to pop over to the Inn to him

That comment has the late Timmy Shanley written all over it but I could be a mile off. RIP.

Bargain basement stuff again from the Reds, if only we had £250m to splash out this summer

Klopp has his hands tied behind his back & is consistently competing. A remarkable man who continues to destroy opposition lives all around him.

Spot on!

Richard Keys is apoplectic over Liverpool’s late winner against the Saudi head choppers.

The glow of last night just gets warmer and warmer and warmer.

FSG are at the same craic over in Boston. Reluctant to spend money. Lost Mookie Betts already. Might lose Rafael Devers next. Two of the best players in baseball. Basically because they don’t want to pay them bumper new contracts.

Don’t think they are bad owners all the same. Liverpool revenues have increased substantially. Built a state of the art training facility. Redeveloped half of Anfield and increased capacity by 16,000. It’s starting to feel like they have taken the club as far as they can though and are depending on Klopp to work his magic year after year.

They are moneyballers, they don’t think spending money is necessary and they’ve been proven somewhat right. Man City’s bottomless pockets combined with their, to be fair, shrewd dealings is impossible to compete with.

The monied super franchises Chelsea, Manchester United and Nottingham Forest throwing around money like confetti and Klopp reduced to signing forty-something TFK posters like @Arthur . Unreal!

Liverpool should really focus on addressing its own issues over financing from cheerleaders for human rights.

Can you copy and paste the whole article there please, it’s behind a pay wall

labour and tories are calling for liverpool to drop standard chartererd, they’re accusing the institution of being complicit in Beijings crackdown on Hong Kong

Liverpool are a private company and should tell them to go fuck themselves. They (British Government) have no problem doing business with any regime when it suits them

Can you post the article? Id like to see how a bank is being compared to state regimes like the saudis who actually execute people regularly.

Either way, the chinese are a great bunch of lads and i for one welcome our new overlords.

A lad doing a job on the farm one time gave my father a sheep dog (about 2 years old) and wouldn’t take any pay for it. Turned out to be the best sheep dog we ever had. When he actually had to go and recruit a successor sheep dog he was more underwhelming by comparison.

This is key in my opinion. Having been in the spiritual home Anfield yesterday, it’s vividly clear how vital it was that we stayed there. Some fans of other clubs pine for a shiny new stadium but you lose part of your soul. Arsenal have never been quite the same since they left Highbury in 2006.
