We need to add in midfield alright but unlike the state owned clubs Liverpool have to make do and be very targeted in transfers. Can’t really afford to make mistakes

175 million Diaz and Nunez is a savage investment particularly when you consider the forward areas weren’t really an issue. Huge money spent on Thiago who’s all been a crock and fairly old too. The reality is Liverpool are investing massive money but klopp is wasting it.

We’re more than happy with Coach Klopp and his transfer market record. There’s been very few duds.
If ye kept mane and signed de jong it would have been much smarter than spending a 100 million on Nunez who was clearly a massive risk.
His signings are so great that Diaz and Nunez’s market value seems to have significantly increased. Compare that to the £50m spent on Diallo, lad not even worthy of a celebrity spot.
In Coach Klopp we trust. Diaz scored the goal of the season last night. He’s a generational talent. Mane was on the slide.
De Jong is apparently not for sale.
De Jong is on half a million a week. Liverpool can’t afford that lark. They broke the bank to give Mo a portion of that. He’d be a fine signing but sure a combination of shifting Origi, Williams, Taki etc off the books paid for Diaz and Nunez, both on much smaller salaries than Sadio.
If De Jong was happy to play for 100-120k a week, Klopp would be after him.
He’s a top player, but he’s also an idiot. Ball goes in off the post last night, different game.

If they get Matheus Nunes in on top of Darwin Nunez for a combined 100m, it’ll be some superb work from the laptop nerds again.
Sadly big spending Wolves have come in and blown the laptop gurus out of the water wrt Nunes.
