Liverpool Football Club 2022/23

I’ll miss most of the game tonight as I’ll be playing ball… Are Bobby and Naby fit? You’d still have to fancy Utd at home with Liverpool down to the bare bones. I’ll plump for a plucky 2-2 draw.

0-0 I think, Liverpool will keep United at bay but will struggle to break them down

The Boss wants the points if the protests turn nasty again.

It turned “nasty” last time?

Very nasty

Have the redmen got enough fit players to fulfil the fixture?

That bench :face_with_peeking_eye:

Fabinho ?? Wtf

He must have a “knock”

Jurgen watched Ferns win the senior in Wexford last week with a heap of 37/38 year olds and is inspired now to reinvent James Milner again as a starter in midfield. He’s auld enough to be Harvey’s auld lad.

In fact there’s a bigger age gap between Jimmy Milner and Harvey Elliot than there is between Andy Farrell and his son Owen.

The injury ravaged redmen have a very inexperienced bench

That’s one of the worst midfields in the league

Id take a draw right now Fran.

Hes down to the bare bones shur

We desperately need a midfielder. It’s glaringly obvious. The plan is probably to bypass the midfield completely but not as easy to do without Mane to launch a diagonal to chase onto.

Naby Lad injured again @anon67715551

Was impressed with Newcastle’s midfield yesterday particularly Guimaraes and Joelinton. Guimaraes has a nice bit of cut to him

I’d take the hand clean off a draw Mike

He tweaked a hamstring Saturday morning pulling a few briars in the garden. Out for 6 weeks or so before he sprains his ankle trick or treating….

Midfield needs a serious clear out. Too many lads made of papier mache in there. Milner has to be wheeled out way more than a man of 36 should be.

Wijnaldum used to get some grief but his greatest skill was probably his constant availability.
