Liverpool Football Club 2023/24

Sure Paddy McCourt did that and is a hero to many Republicans

Liverpool FC have traditionally been the unionist club in that city. KOP (King over Pope) etc. The working class always leaned towards Everton.

It’s no surprise Bradley has taken the soup there.

Paddy took the soup and played for a Republican club?

In 2012-13, Liverpool hit the woodwork 33 times in 38 games with Suarez the main culprit.

“There is an element of luck. It would be more worrying if the chances were not being created. Maybe next season, all the ones that hit the post and come out may go in,”- Suarez in May 2013.

The following season Suarez scored 33 goals.

Nunez will be better than Suarez

In fairness you’re being disingenuous and you know it.
There was no choice back in those days, if you were from the north you played for the north. That was the gentleman’s agreement. Granted the north was the better team back then, so they have decided to declare for the team going to Workd Cups had they a choice.

Jack and Maurice unearthing Kernaghan opened lads eyes to their actually being a choice. Gibson a decade later kicked the door open for any lads that wanted to make the choice based on political or cultural identity.

Rory McIlroys take on things is hardly surprising given his background, a middle class Catholic from north Down that went to a rubby/hockey school. More power to him and his take on it.

Same to Bradley. But you have to admit his choice was a bit intriguing given his background. Sure, I’d have preferred he was lining out for us, for purely selfish reasons, but bear him no ill-will.

We’re all Irish. And we’re all vetted so it’s all good.

A 7.5 rated performance, an assist and general consternation was a good nights work by Darwin. A man who never hides. Always looking for the next chance.

Alllisonana…

I actually think Alisson was unlucky today, it looked like Virgil got in his way for the 2nd and the little flick just was enough for the 3rd to go perfectly through his legs.

In saying that, Liverpool were very poor today

Bad day at the office but no Salah, Szobozlai and Nunez (from the start) were big losses. Those are the most dynamic and energetic players Liverpool have and they looked a bit flat without them.

Game would probably have ended 1-1 only for the Virgil/Allison fuck up though. Both sides seemed to have run out of ideas at that point.

Klopp’s ego has been Liverpool’s undoing here, he assumed he could announce his retirement and his team would ride a wave of love and loyalty all the way to a title. Instead they downed tools and turned their back on him. Meanwhile ETH has found a few players and jurgens dream job looks unreachable. Colossal fuck up

@Fran is a middle aged man from either kilkenny or wexford

Why is he invested in this?

Are you currently whacked or baked?
