Heā€™s been immense all season and the rest of the world only seems to be catching on over the last week.

FOTY in waiting.

An even more memorable late winner than Trent v Fulham, Harvey v Palace and Darwin himself v Newcastle. A veritable feast of late winners this season.

Just looking at the fixture list there. Thatā€™s 8 wins out of last 9 for Liverpool. 7 of the 8 wins against sides in bottom half of the table. The other win a nice gimme at home to an out of sorts Newcastle. The other game was lost at Woolwich.

Serious stuff starts for Liverpool with the visit of the Abu Dhabi backed financial dopers next week. Itā€™s a tricky enough looking last 11 games on the whole. Liverpool results against sides in top half of the tenor not that hectic so far this season.

Iā€™m old enough to remember when it used to be called Fergie Time

You have to get the points on the board

It was mane vs villa esque

Ramadan now as well starting next week too. Thatā€™s bad timing and going to hit sides hard who rely on talismanic players who are members of the Islamic faith.

Itā€™s the hope that kills you

Itā€™s kloppage time now

Vital win in the race for the Top 4, with Spurs and Villa not going away

Massive goal. Staying the obvious but a 99th minute winner is the type that has an impact beyond the three points & may be very significant when the seasonā€™s over. Huge for the win itself, for keeping momentum rolling, to sustain and increase belief, to put more pressure on & sicken title rivals.

Elanga missed two great chances - one in each half - & Kelleher did really well to save the first half one on one. Second half was Liverpool turning the screw & probing, winning a lot of corners & Forest soaking it up & trying to counter. Forest had a chance to boot the ball clear at the end but tried to play out from their own box. Lovely glancing header by Nunez, who played the ball in?

Whatā€™s this about Liverpool not giving ball back in injury time? Marinakos came onto pitch to confront ref and our own Stephen Reid got a red card

Maca lad played it in.

Winners win, losers whine

Forest had a corner & Kelleher gave Konate a dunt as Liverpool cleared the box. Forest regained possession outside the box but Konate stayed down holding his head & the ref stopped play. Play should have restarted with the ref dropping the ball to Forest but he dropped it to Liverpool & they didnā€™t give the ball back. This was after around 97 minutes. Forest had possession again once or twice between then & the winner so it wasnā€™t as if Liverpool scored directly from it but it was contrary to the etiquette of the game!

Forest tried gamesmanship and lost
