Kloppās team won the league last year mate. @mikehunt could have managed Liverpool to that title. Slot hadnāt a notion, it was obvious a handful of games into this season.

I think it was evident from last February that there were a lot of wrongs emerging and the laptop nerds only went and doubled it.
Slotās biggest issue is his inability or stubbornness to change.

Klopp had just assembled that team tbf. He saw the end of one great team and was trying to build a decent team to leave the club in good standingā¦
City falling off a cliff had a huge bearing on Slot winningā¦ he changed very little for the first half of the season and the team almost ran itself.
After Christmas you could see a drop in the whole team as Slot began to tinker with itā¦
Heās been unlucky in that VVD and Salahās legs have both completely gone in a short period. Losing Trent and Diaz on top of that is essentially losing your 4 most influential players in one go. Iād have sympathy on that front and Wirtz wasnāt his signingā¦
With all that said, heās paid a lot of money to manage what he has. 14 losses so far this season with many more to come - that is simply not good enough regardless of what he did last season . All 3 of the promoted sides have beaten Liverpool, something which hasnāt happened in 60 or more years.
He has his system and looks clueless beyond that. His one big tweak was Grav at 6 taking the ball on the turn to beat the pressā¦ it was figured out after 6 months and midfield has been a disaster zone since.
He continues to keep his team wide open despite having no proper midfield and having a legless VVD at the heart of the defenceā¦ and heās looking at this week in and week out like itās magically going to change.
Lastly, thereās no fight in that team . They are gutless. Wirtz being a prime example, he is a pussy. And while the players take blame itās up to the manager to set standards and get the most out of his team. And heās clearly not able to.
