Liverpool - not 2009/10 but the next season after that

Yeah itā€™s just all chinese whispers at the moment

BREAKING NEWS:
Fernando Torres says heā€™s happy at Liverpool and is looking forward to the new season.

He would be Huang out to dry if he said any differnetā€¦

It seems a takeover is goona happen sooner rather than later. New regulations insist that clubs must give the premier league 10 days notice if a take over is to happenā€¦ they havenā€™t quiet given the 10 but the FA have been contacted and the ball is in motion. If the Huang takeover is successful Liverpool could have the ability to match the ridiculous spending of Chelsea and Man City and in many ways surpass them with the endless comerical opportunities within China that would result.

Thereā€™s a difference between ā€œcommercial opportunitiesā€ in a market they are already in versus billions of pure cash at their disposal. Liverpool may well make more money from the Chinese market if they change their ownership but the money that Chelsea and Man City have dwarfs the commercial revenue earned by anyone.

Not particularly interested in having the cash of Chelsea or Man City. Thereā€™s no fun in that.

Owners who guarantee the stability of the club along with not having to sell top players to exist would do me.

Who said that Liverpool canā€™t attract the top players anymore/

Liverpool have bid for Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad Jones, skysports.com understands.

The Reds have been linked with a move for a new shot-stopper with boss Roy Hodgson believed to be keen on providing more back-up for No.1 Pepe Reina.

He has now turned his sights on Boro keeper Jones, who will miss the opening day of the Championship season through suspension.

Australia international Jones missed this summerā€™s World Cup finals as he had to leave the Socceroos squad after his son was diagnosed with leukaemia.

Jones has been with Boro throughout pre-season, but Danny Coyne will start against Ipswich on Saturday because of the Australianā€™s ban.

But it now seems Jones could already have played his last game for Boro, with Liverpool having made a firm bid for the 28-year-old who is a product of the North East clubā€™s famed academy.

Boro are now believed to be considering their options as, if they did sell, they would have to go out and sign a new keeper.

Crystal Palaceā€™s highly-rated keeper Julian Speroni has already been linked as a possible replacement.

Hodgson going with the strongest team tonight without those involved in latter stages of the WC.

It will probably be something like this:

Cavalieri
Johnson, Carragher, Skrtel, Agger
Spearing, Lucas, Gerrard, Jovanavic
Cole
Ngog

Or maybe Aquilani instead of Spearing with Gerrard moving to the right.

Would actually prefer to see that.

Farmer, any mention anywhere of another striker coming in?

Only strikers I have seen linked has been Crouch and Remy. Neither of them look likely I would say.

By the looks of things it seems like he is happy with Ngog.

Jovanavic and Babel can also play up there.

When did farmer become an authority on such things?

Pretty sure he just regurgitates stuff he reads on Koptalk.

What else do you want?

A mole inside the board room.

More directed at Runt than you farmer. But yes, a mole in the boardroom would be useful.

Farmer is the word, Farmer is the man.

Farmers got street cred from his time in the hud.

Donā€™t know much about Jovanavic but wouldnā€™t like to be relying on Babel for goals.
I really think they need a decent striker. You can pretty much rule Torres out of 1/3 of the seasons games and I wouldnā€™t like to only have Nā€™Gog as back up.

Youā€™ll Never Wok Alone

Bring back three metre Peter to Anfieldā€¦ and his mrs to look at. He should never have been sold full stop. The man gives liverpool a plan B cause mother of jesus if weā€™ve to rely on Babel and ngog to help nando were proper fucked.

Pancheco has been given number 12 fior next season.

Looks like he is going to get games and feature in 25 man squad.
