I am only guessing here you grumpy fook, but I think that Shan, as a United supporter, would not like to see Liverpool progress as there is a deep dislikeness by each set of supporters for the other club. I know I wouldn’t be happy, as a Liverpool, if United got back into the Champions League.
Part of being a United supporter is not liking Liverpool and vice versa. We can have this debate until the cows come home about them being clubs in a foreign country but I am aware that you still harbour some support for the Reds.
