Bauer for Elhamed and unchanged otherwise.
FFS, you think he can surely give McGregor a rest before he keels over.
He will pick a serious injury up before the season is over. Ntcham should be starting today.
Rest him up so Scotland can have him nice and fresh? No thanks
Grand so, let Scotland have him flogged so he’s ripe for picking up an injury on international duty.
No, no. Let’s drop our most important midfielder and one of our two best players for an important league game away from home against tricky opposition so he can be fit and raring to go for some Scotland games.
Or let’s play some fresh and hungry players who will be chomping at the bit for players who are tired and off their best form this season.
Willie Collum is such a cheating little gimp.
Flat start.
Very hard to weight passes on that surface, ball always seems to have too much or too little on it.
Collum couldn’t wait to give that.
Cunt.
Red card for Christie.
Deserved a red but Collum was in some hurry to give it. It’s an appalling pitch though and impossible to judge the run of the ball.
That was a red card tackle alright…
…but it came on the back of me calling Collum a cheating little cunt for a reason.
He’s refereed this game the way the lad at Anfield did late on yesterday so far. Letting them leave the foot in and giving soft frees against Celtic.
Celtic have moved Forrest inside. Elyounoussi pretty much playing on the left of a narrow midfield three with McGregor and Brown. 4-3-1-1. This will be tough now given their clogging, the shit plastic pitch and with Celtic having played on Thursday night.
I’d be tempted to bring Bayo on for maybe Forrest. Let him play through the middle with Eddy off him. Go fairly direct and let Eddy play off the lay offs and knocks. Meet clogging with clogging.
Not at all impressed with Ajer’s form this season.
The Ballad of Long Kesh getting an airing.
He’s been poor again at the back. Reckless once or twice and failed to clear the ball properly in a couple of dangerous situations. Though he’s been useful bringing the ball out from the back.
I’d give it another few minutes like this before bringing Bayo on but we need to be prepared to go more direct and cancel out their numerical advantage in midfield.
I think if Bitton comes back in and plays like he was before his injury then he might be the best option to partner Jullien right now.
I know Ajer is a bit rash and tends to slide in too much, but that incident where there was nobody near him and he slid into the ball and then it dribbled 5 yards forward straight to their player…bizarre.
Celtic need to find a way here.
