Tramore was always a soccer town. There was a young lad on the All Ireland minor winning team Josh Zefkovic. It was more notable that he came from Tramore than he was of Croatian extraction.

Croatian’s have told me in the past that they wouldn’t let their kids play hurling, so that is a good one!
Great win for Wexford tonight, former Shamrock Rovers player Aji Oluwayibi with his first for wexford with 5 mins to go. Cracker of a strike. The few new players recruited have done well, Mo Harris up front looks lively, O Brien is solid in centre midfield and Aji on the wing brings a different dynamic with his pace and direct running. Needed that win to keep in touch for a playoff sport, Finn harps were poor but we didnt take advantage of possession in the first half and conceded a poor goal, just positionally caught out badly. Change ofntactics at half time and went with a 3 2 3 2 type set up and attacked a lot more. Harris won a penalty when his shot was blocked by the harps defenders hand and Mikie Rowe scored his 17th of the season. And Aji deservedly got his goal to win the game. 3 away games out of 4 now, and need results in all of them.

They were tbf to them. I was impressied with them when I went up to Drogheda last year for the FAI Cup semi final as well. Great supporters.
