I was at this match. Bohs v Cork City Wednesday May 5th, 1993. A 0-0 draw, Corkâs last match in the three way play-off which meant they couldnât win the league in that particular iteration of the play-off.
They needed another draw between Shels and Bohs on the Saturday night to get another three way play-off and they got it.
Cork pulled a lovely rabbit out of the hat for the second iteration of the play-off, where each of the three teams were to play each other once, at âneutralâ venues. Cork had by that stage moved to Bishopstown but they were only there a few months I think. The âneutralâ venue for the Cork-Bohs match wasâŚTurnerâs Cross. They won and then beat Shels at the RDS to end matters.

Spurs have seemed the likely move for Mason âMasoâ Melia for a while now.
He has huge potential and seems to have a good attitude as well.
He did Pats a solid by signing deal that committed him to club until after he turned 18.
