LOI premier division thread 2024

Rovers weren’t all that impressive I thought. On top in the first half but United were pretty comfortable in the second. That said the goal was a bit of genuine quality out of nowhere. Great pass over the top. Great first time touch out wide and a great cross. Game looked to be heading for a 0-0 really. United actually had a great chance themselves 5 minutes before the Rovers goal. With a header just skinning the Rovers post. Think United will be ok as they look like they’ll be very difficult to beat but they are really missing a goal scorer at the higher level.

Changing username is a bit Bohs pal. Cop on.

We’ve been better without our striker.

Agreed, United were good, Rovers a little bit gooder for that split second. Manager will have to accept some blame here. They made a great move in hauling off KOS for Dervin early on but stood looking on then. Holding out for 0 - 0 required fresh legs, going for the win required fresh legs. They made the changes when we were beaten and time up.

Thanks to our great Galway friends.

Pitch looked in great nick and its brilliant to see a packed Terryland/, Eamonn Deacy in the top flight. As you can tell we still haven’t clicked yet but that was a massive win to grind out when not in top form. We had chances in the first but missed through Burke and Gaffney. Just when it looked to be well set up for the draw Kenny took a gamble and it paid off at the near post, hopefully he can kick on now too. Very tight league so far.

Rovers different team second half. Taking their chances. Bohs defending poor.

Rovers when one up are great to watch - just automatically ease into taking over the game

Red rover. Ripping them to shreds.

What jersey could Bohs release as a distraction?

Thought they looked really average in the first half (though threatened to get in behind with pace a few times). But they’ve suffocated it completely in the second half once they took the early lead as you say.

You at it?

Think seen 10,000 come up on screen for attendance. Great to see.
