I’d love to see Pat’s win it but those Shamrock Rovers fixtures are ominous. Hard to see them dropping points against Drogheda, Dundalk or Waterford (H).

The narrative and the emotions around Coach Kenny have shifted.
He fucking ruined our national team forever and now we suddenly feel sorry for him and want him to win the league (I want Galway United to win the league).
We’re absolute suckers for a human interest/redemption story.
And there’s something magical about a team coming from nowhere in this manner as those above them trip themselves up week after week after week. It’s like the fantasy Premier League prediction games I used to play when Liverpool would win the final 15 games and come from 20 points off the lead to win the 2015/16 Premier League* on the final day.
