LOI premier division thread 2024

The richest game in Irish football kicks oh at 2pm.

Surely Drogheda will have too much for the seagulls

I forgot it was on. Just saw the last few mins of the first half. Bray are looking completely harmless. Look to keep possession but knock it around at a snails pace at the back and in midfield. Rarely looking to play forward at all, and they 2-0 down.

Just seen the half time highlights. Bray had a couple of opportunities all the same.

I felt sorry for the chap reading this:

Meh, an improvement on Higgins but not too worried

seems to be a struggle with SRFC now between the members & the owners re where to from here, Desmond wants more investment

Derry, Pats, Shels, Galway all have megarich owners now

Gufc are still supporter-owned as the Comers have yet to takeover, despite getting the vote for proceed. The fact that they didn’t take over already suggests it won’t happen for the medium term.

no way

they have put money in though?

Not as much as rumoured. Lads thinking the same brothers sitting on empty property all over the country because they won’t get optimal profit are going to be throwing north of 100k at a hobby passion :joy:

Gufc have done well off gate receipts and sponsorships. That’s why they haven’t been to splash on the likes of Gaffney or Hoban’s wage demands.
