Was a man with a powerwasher blamed or what?
I thought Peter and Iris had split up after her problems last year? Great to see they are working through them like mature adults (unlike the bloke she was shagging, who could hardly be described as mature, or indeed an adult).
The thing that really shits me is the “republican” protestors, in their british football team uniforms, holding up posters of Bobby Sands. If Bobby Sands was alive today, he would be a suit wearing disciple of the peace process, working with the republican leadership towards the democratic achievement of their aims. He would not be having the odd pop at a PSNI member like his odious sister. They’re denigrating the memory of Bobby Sands by assuming he would still be carrying on armed resistance. He would welcome the Queen of England as a visiting head of state, as another milestone on the way to a united Ireland.
The Queen of England is a bitch.
that is all.
SAS
I’m sure she’ll be most concerned that the SAS think she’s a bitch. Don’t they do her security?
Aiy, the South Armagh Sniper Squad do her security
SAS
Sands would have been wearing the Villa kit if any.
The if he were alive argument isnt a good one. He may well have opposed Adams and been just like his odious sister and the murdering scum she hangs around with.
You just made an if he were alive argument.
I very much doubt it, he would have supported the peace process.
Im playing Devils advocate to your if he were alive argument.
It’s impossible to tell if he would or wouldnt.
his self inflicted death unfortunately comes in the way of issuing statements like he would have supported the peace process.
I meant to enquire about this. When I read the news report on it yesterday it all read very odd.
There was definitely some high level incompetence surrounding the death.

The top stallion Verglas, who died after an accident.
ONE of racing’s top stallions died just hours before he was due to be inspected by horse- lover Queen Elizabeth. Verglas had been standing as a sire at the National Stud in Kildare town for the past six years.
But he died as a result of an accident on Tuesday as he was being prepared for the visit of the queen and Prince Philip this morning.
Verglas was one of eight stallions at the National Stud, with a fee of €10,000 per service. He was one of the top 10 Irish-based sires of 2010.
Stud chief executive John Osborne said last night that it was with great sadness he confirmed the death of Verglas, “one of our most popular stallions”. “Staff are distraught at the news, which followed a tragic accident during the normal course of business,” Mr Osborne said.
“Along with Invincible Spirit, Amadeus Wolf and Jeremy, he was among our top stallions and has left behind him an incredible legacy of wins.”
“A tragic accident during the normal course of business”
They’re expecting a crowd of thousands to line the streets of Cork for this. FFS.
That would be consistent with Rebel Cork’s traditional attitude to royal visits. The streets were thronged with well-wishers when Edward VII and Alexandra paraded through the city in 1903
Wreath laying ceremony at the grave of Sadlers Wells this morning…
Really?
Rebel county me hole. The authorities aren’t even worried about them down there.
She’s in coolmore anyway, as exclusively announced on Tfk earlier this week…
This visit had really exposed our great national
trait of fawning over foreign celebrities.
This was really brought home to me watching the news last night. They were going through the highlights of Garret Fitzgeralds life - a man who was at the centre of political life here for two decades and they pick out a clip of him presenting an honorary degree to B list actor Martin Sheen when he was chancellor of NUI.
We are going to make a holy show of ourselves in front of Obama next week.
Moneygall should be fucking hilarious viewing I’d imagine. Have we decided which county Moneygall is actually in yet?
Never was the phrase “forelock tugging” so apt
We ain’t seen nuthin yet
