Long Live the king

She’s some leader. Unreal. A calm and guiding hand in a time crisis

Bullet points?

No mention of her husbands wishes in 1988, to come back as a virus if he was reincarnated to deal with “overpopulation”

She can’t stand Blair by all accounts

Series 3 was the weakest so far.

In fairness, he’s a totally dangerous cunt and should be locked up for an unjust war in Iraq.

Try not to die was the gist of it. Lovely callback to a speech she made 80 years ago to the children during the blitz, a bit of old Pope John Paul II razmatazz thrown in for good measure. She is an international treasure

Brits are screwed if that’s the type of “leadership” they value

She despised Blair. He was her least favourite of the 14 that have served under her, by some distance. She wasn’t too keen on Ted Heath if the Crown is anything to go by.

Any plan?

He was an awful oddball. Churchill 1. Wilson 2. I started crying when Wilson announced his retirement to her and admitted he had Parkinson’s. It was a very moving moment

She is a great judge of character considering what came out about Heath decades later. Ted was the man who dissolved the empire into the Brussels superstate of course so for that alone deserved ignominy

Yeah she said stay calm and the pubs will be open again for the June Bank holiday

The Brits don’t have a June bank holiday.

It’s much more a case of MayDay for them at the moment.

80 years, unreal, yet again HRH struck the right cord
