You’re not really having a Good Friday, are you?

Edit: wrong thread but sure it’ll do.
In fairness Jamie Barron can count himself lucky not to have been sent off for a punch there. Brian O’Meara missed an All Ireland for less in a much more physical era.
Back in them days the ref would count how many teeth were lost before deciding whether to issue a card, and which colour.
That was like your 8 year old trying to grab the TV remote off you though more than anything.
FWIW I didn’t think there was much more in Casey’s one, and he’s very unlucky, though I’m not sure about the policy of reversing on field decisions unless it’s absolutely blatantly obviously wrong.
Michael Quinlivan was sent off for similar v Kerry this year.
A good auld shake of the hands and off they went.
I love that clip. It has everything.
It’s the way Paidi would tell a story too
Lovely to see a bit of common sense prevailing. It was similar to Paul O’Connell versus Robert Sidoli in 2005. They shook hands in front of the ref, so he let them off with a caution
Hego obviously did something before it too. He holds his hand up in apology before getting smited with an almighty blow.
